Every Christmas, someone's Christmas goes missing.

A family with nothing under the tree. A neighbor spending the holiday alone. A classmate who feels unseen.

This year, the PRETTY girls are saving it.

Each contestant saves Christmas for someone through one real act of service, and every vote is a gift to Esther Funds Foundation, helping college students stay in school so the girls coming up behind them can finish too.

Questions parents ask

Does this cost anything?

No. It is free to apply, compete and be crowned. Her looks are clothes she already has; nothing has to be bought.

Where does the vote money go?

Every vote is a gift to Esther Funds Foundation, a 501(c)(3) public charity (EIN 93-4917509) that helps college students stay in school. The money never goes to her, to you, or to Pretty Girls Who Serve, and she never touches it. Gifts are not refundable unless charged in error.

Does she have to travel?

No. Everything is virtual: onboarding by video, campaign week from home, and the crowning live online with her family.

How much time does it take?

Onboarding on December 5, one afternoon for her service project with an adult, and a few minutes a day to post during campaign week, December 13 to 20.

What will people see about her?

Online we show only her first name, last initial, city and state. Her photo and videos are shown only if you say yes. Her school, phone, email and address are never shown.

Who talks to her?

No one at PGWS messages her privately. Every email to her is copied to you, and onboarding is on video with you there. Anyone she doesn't know who reaches out goes to you or to us.

Is it faith-based?

Yes. Pretty Girls Who Serve is a Christian sisterhood. The pageant is about character, kindness and service, not looks.

What if someone is unkind to her online?

Tell us at pgws@estherfundsinc.org with a screenshot. We act fast, and contestants are never allowed to campaign against each other.

Can I change my mind?

Yes, at any time, from your parent portal. Withdraw your permission and she is no longer a contestant, and nothing about her is shown.

What does she win?

Prizes are announced by PGWS Nationals before voting opens. Every contestant leaves with a service project, sisters who pray for her, and a stronger voice.

Who runs it?

Pretty Girls Who Serve, LLC, a Christian sisterhood. Esther Funds Foundation is the nonprofit the votes benefit. Questions any time: pgws@estherfundsinc.org.

Every Future Fulfilled

Every vote in Miss Pretty Girls Who Serve Teen is a gift to Esther Funds Foundation. While she saves Christmas for someone in her town, the votes she gathers help college students stay in school, so the girls coming up behind them, girls like her, can finish too.

Esther Funds Foundation works to prevent college dropout among minority, first-generation and low-income students, especially in the South. It was founded in January 2024 by Shayna Vincent, who left college more than once before she finished. Through chapters on campuses, REACH, scholarships and emergency help, EFF helps students stay in school and finish.
